Here are the most popular
ways of wearing the lariat. But clients
are constantly coming up with their own new styles…which we here
at LBL just
love!
1. INTERMEDIATE
INTERTWINED
- Fold the lariat in half with the two
dangling, open ends facing each other.
- Place the folded necklace around the back of
your neck with your dangles hanging down on one side of your neck and
the folded necklace stones on the other side.
- Pull the dangles through the necklace loop
that you have created.
- Wear as loose or as tight around your neck as
preferred!
2. CHOKER SHORT &
SASSY
- Place the entire necklace around the back of
your neck with your dangles hanging in front of you.
- Cross the two sides in front as to make an
"X" with your necklace when you look down.
- Pull tight around your neck & toss the
dangling ends behind you.
- Have the necklace meet in the middle of the
back of your neck and cross them again.
- Bring the dangling ends to the front of your
neck.
- Tie in front as desired (some clients loop
the dangling ends under the choker they have created, some simply tie
it as they would if they were beginning to make a bow).
3. ASYMETRICAL
INTERTWINED
Follow same instructions as
#1, except instead of folding lariat in half at the beginning, fold it
1/4 the
way down. This will give you an
asymmetrical look. You'll have one long
dangling drop and one shorter dangle.
4. BACKWARDS
CHOKER SHORT & SASSY
If you want to wear the
stones dangling down your back with a choker-look in front, follow the
steps
for the "Choker Short & Sassy" (#2), but don't bring the necklace
back around the front after you cross the ends in the back. A very dressy look -- great with a backless
dress!
5. LONG &
LEAN
- Hold the entire lariat
unfolded in front of you, put around your neck with the dangling ends
behind you.
- Cross the necklace in
the back and bring the dangling ends to the front.
- Make a tie, knot, or
some other creative style with the long, open-ended pieces!
